Average Daily Drivers

More and more people are being contacted by their insurance company requesting an appraisal for average vehicles that are are not even 20 years old. Insurance companies are finding that the many value guides of older vehicles either no longer exist or are extremely undervalued. Because older vehicles are not eligable for bank loans, they are not being sold by OEM dealers which provide data to value guides like Kelley Blue Book, JD Power, Edmunds. Value guides can be completely wrong because of only gathering sales information of older vehicles from auctions which are almost entirely composed of accident write offs.

After assessing and documenting your vehicle's condition, I evaluate the accuracy of price guides compared to comparables for sale. I look at vehicles that are for sale and sold in Alberta, Across Canada, and in the USA to find the best matches. Because these types of vehicles are not highly modified or need an extensive written description, I have lower rates for the appraisal.
