Vehicle values, parts prices, and shop labour rates have dramatically increased over the past few years. Even if your appraisal is less than 5 years old, it may be a good idea to update your insurance with the current value of your pride and joy.

Sometimes a vehicle becomes unique and can only be built again to achieve a fair replacement. I go over the build labour and parts costs of clients vehicles and often create spreadsheet updated with current prices. Parts prices have dramatically risen since 2019. It can also make sense to update an appraisal after just a few years to account for further price increases and additional changes that you have made. Once I have appraised and documented your vehicle once, I have discounted rates for updating it with a fresh appraisal as needed.
